2015 IPA Polka Music Awards Call to Action<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0New Award: Favorite International Polka Album <\/strong><\/p>\n

The International Polka Association is preparing to conduct the\u00a0balloting for the annual Polka Music Awards that\u00a0will determine the Favorite Polish Polka Album<\/em>, Favorite International Polka Album<\/em>,<\/em> Favorite Song<\/em>, Favorite Male Vocalist<\/em>, Favorite<\/em> Female Vocalist<\/em>, and Favorite Band<\/em> for 2015.\u00a0 Note that the Favorite International Polka Album<\/em> is a new award that recognizes a deserving album from the non-Polish styles such as Slovenian, Czech, German, Dutchmen, etc.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

To ensure all qualified recordings and artists are included on the ballot, recording companies and polka artists must\u00a0download, complete, and submit the IPA Polka Music Awards Affidavit found on the IPA web site at www.ipapolkas.com<\/a>. The document is located under the \u201cHall of Fame\/Awards\u201d tab. A physical recording in compact disc (CD) format must accompany the affidavit and mailed to: IPA Polka Music Awards, P.O. Box 91, Dover, DE 19903 postmarked by January 14, 2016<\/u>.\u00a0 <\/strong>The completed affidavit may also be scanned and emailed to: ipahalloffame@gmail.com<\/a>,\u00a0but the CD must still be submitted even if the recording was digitally released.\u00a0 Please note that only\u00a0recordings released between January 1 and December 31, 2015 are eligible for the<\/em> Favorite Polish Polka Album<\/em>, <\/em>Favorite International Polka Album<\/em>, and<\/em> Favorite Song<\/em> awards.\u00a0\u00a0Eligible recording companies and artists may nominate one<\/u> song for Favorite Song<\/em> award consideration from each released recording.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Recordings released in previous years are not eligible, even if re-released as part of a new compilation album.<\/p>\n
